Alyssa Schaeffer, AICP | Senior Planner

Alyssa is the primary staff person for the Central Iowa Regional Transportation Planning Alliance. Alyssa also serves as a Senior Planner for the Mid Iowa Planning Alliance (MIPA). She earned a master’s degree in urban and regional planning and a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, both from the University of Iowa.

Andrew Collings, AICP | Executive Director

Andrew was the primary staff person for CIRTPA for over ten years. Andrew also serves as the Executive Director of MIPA. Before joining MIPA, he was a Principal Planner for the Des Moines Area MPO. He earned a master’s degree in urban and regional planning and a bachelor’s degree in geography, both from the University of Iowa.
